BREAKING: Kimberley Guilfoyle FINALLY Answers Speculation About Press Sec Role

Kimberly Guilfoyle signed a multi-year contract with Fox News, indicating she would remain a host on the network rather than replace Sean Spicer as White House Press Secretary.

Guilfoyle, an outspoken defender of the president, has been with Fox News since 2006 and co-hosts “The Five.”

“I’m excited to remain at Fox News Channel, a place I have called home for many years, and to continue my role as co-host of The Five,” Guilfoyle said in a statement provided by Fox. “I very much look forward to what lies ahead.”

In May, Guilfoyle confirmed that she was in talks with the White House to replace Spicer. That replacement seemed like a possibility in light of news that Spicer would be taking on a new role overseeing the White House communications team.

Fox News said on Thursday, however, that Guilfoyle agreed to stay with the network for multiple years as a part of a “long-term deal.”

After working as a prosecutor, Guilfoyle was a legal analyst with ABC News. Her show, “The Five,” is one of the top-rated cable news programs and has averaged 2.5 million in total viewers.
