Man Spots Person In Wheelchair Struggling In Pouring Rain, His Next Move Is Filling Hearts With Joy

Penelope Derksen watched as a man in a wheelchair struggled making it through a complete downpour, but then a stranger came along. Not expecting to witness two heart-wrenching sights in a row, she grabbed her camera ready to film it all. She first noticed the weather, which was somewhat alarming.

The heavy rain made for difficult travels even for those in a vehicle, but this man she saw was out trying to get home in a wheelchair. The electric wheelchair, like any other, can only go to a certain speed which was certainly not fast enough to take him to safety, yet there was a kind stranger who took notice.

Seeing the man’s struggles to make it through the storm, Penelope herself was about to go out and help, but instead, she and the man both received a beautiful blessing. A stranger came rushing to his aid, but not in a way that anyone would have expected.

When he saw the wheelchair he knew he couldn’t just ignore the situation and he immediately took action. Willing to give up all personal comfort, the stranger began pushing the man in the wheelchair along, but an obstacle stood in their way.

The heavy rain made it a challenge, but then they noticed an uphill battle. This was the moment the stranger had a choice whether he would continue to help, or if he would show just enough compassion to get the man going a little way. Penelope watched in amazement.

Showing sacrificial love, patience and endurance, the stranger did exactly what the man in the wheelchair needed that day. His act of kindness leaves us all with warm hearts, and beyond that, it is a beautiful example of going out of your comfort zone to help out those in need.
