Police Reveal the Startling Discovery They Made Inside Las Vegas Shooter’s Home

Police recovered 18 additional firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and even explosives from Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock’s home in Mesquite, Nevada.

Law enforcement is currently working four crime scenes, including an additional home in northern Nevada:

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Joseph Lombardo later elaborated about the explosive material recovered by police during the Monday press conference, saying the shooter had ammonium nitrate in his car and “several pounds” of tannerite in his home.

Lombardo said the death toll in the shooting has increased once again to 59. So far, at least 527 people are injured in the wake of the attack at a Las Vegas concert where thousands of people were watching country music star Jason Aldean perform.

However, police still don’t have a motive in the massacre. Lombardo said of the shooter Monday, “I can’t get into the mind of a psychopath.”

The suspect was not known to law enforcement, and the FBI confirmed it found no links between the shooter and international terror groups.
