Firefighters Respond to Fire at Bill and Hillary Clinton’s House in Chappaqua, NY

A team of firefighters reportedly responded Wednesday afternoon to a fire at former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s house in Chappaqua, New York.

The news was first shared by The Journal News, a newspaper based in nearby White Plains, New York:

Initial reports indicated the fire started in a bedroom, and it has since been extinguished.

The Clintons have owned the Chappaqua residence since 1999, according to Business Insider, and in September 2016, Hillary Clinton purchased the property next door for $1.16 million.

The Clintons have lived in the first New York house, located at 15 Old House Lane, for almost 20 years. They purchased it for $1.7 million.
