WATCH: Fox News Host Squashes Question on Being Only Black Woman with Daily Show: ‘Where is CNN’s?’

Fox News host Harris Faulkner gave an epic response to a question from “The View” cohost Sunny Hostin about being the only African-American woman to host her own daily show on the network during an episode this week.

“You’re currently the only woman of color with her own daily show on Fox,” Hostin began. “When I turn on Fox — and I do sometimes — and I see you, I feel like I’m looking at a unicorn…It’s fascinating to me.”

Hostin then highlighted Fox News’ coverage of racial issues, including criticism of NFL players kneeling during the national anthem to protest police brutality towards minorities, and even addressed Faulkner’s contributions to that coverage.

“You yourself have come out against Colin Kaepernick,” she said. “Do you get flak from the black community on your positions and for being the only black woman on Fox News?”

“You have been in that environment so you know, and you have been in broadcast for a long time, and you and I have talked at other points. I get flak from everybody,” the “Outnumbered” host shot back. “Which is how I know I’m living my truth.”

Unsatisfied, Hostin kept pushing the issue, asking, “Do you feel a certain responsibility to the black community?”

“I feel a responsibility to everyone, because my daughters are biracial,” Faulkner said to applause from the audience before dropping the hammer on other networks with no black women daily show hosts. “I’m in a unique position, okay?”

“And I know you say the only one on Fox. Where is MSNBC’s? Where is CNN’s? I think HLN, and that’s new,” she continued. “But sitting alone as a person of color — as a black woman — I do have a unique position, and sometimes people say things, and it hurts.”
