Jimmy Kimmel Tries to Bait Kim Kardashian West Into Bashing Trump — Instead She Gives This Classy Response

While being interviewed by host Jimmy Kimmel on his show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Monday, Kim Kardashian West was given the opportunity to join in on bashing President Donald Trump along with Kimmel. Kardashian West instead choose to say how thankful she was for Trump commuting the life sentence of Alice Marie Johnson.

In June, Trump had commuted Johnson’s sentence after being convicted for a non-violent drug offense after meeting with Kardashian West in the Oval office.

“I knew there was only one person in power that can make this change and get this woman out of prison that was serving a life sentence and so I went for it,” she explained.

After Kardashian West described how “weird” it felt to be in the Oval office, Kimmel quipped how it was “especially weird” that Trump is president.

“Right?” Kimmel asked Kardashian West.

“You know, I’m very grateful and I’m very hopeful that more good things are gonna come out of our conversations,” Kardashian West replied.

Kimmel then asked if Kardashian West has more people she wants to help get out of prison.

“I do,” she said.

“Is Melania on it?” Kimmel joked.

“I have nothing bad to say about the president,” she later added. “He has done something amazing,” adding how she does not agree with every policy.

Kardashian West’s husband, Kanye West, is a mild supporter of Trump, having gone as far as tweeting a selfie while wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and showing another MAGA hat had been signed by the president:
