Oregon Candidate For Congress Calls Melania A Whore

A candidate from the Independent Party of Oregon who is challenging incumbent GOP Congressman Greg Walden for his seat in state’s second district decided to launch a scurrilous attack on First Lady Melania Trump on Tuesday, tweeting that she was a whore.

Roberts even doubled down when his tweet was criticized:

But Roberts should be a great candidate; he’s for common sense representation:

Apparently “common sense representation” allows for wide latitude when it comes to language.
