Rand Paul (R-KY) has relaxed his possible opposition to President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, announcing he will vote for Kavanaugh’s confirmation should the time come. Concerned that Kavanaugh had been produced by the D.C. establishment, Rand Paul expressed to feeling “worried” about the Bush appointee’s nomination. Rand particularly objected to Kavanaugh’s stance on the Fourth Amendment’s ban on “unreasonable” searches and seizures by the government. The noted libertarian has been an outspoken critic of the NSA surveillance programs as well as the so-called deep-state’s treatment of President Trump. In 2015, Kavanaugh wrote a concurring opinion to a District of Columbia Court of Appeals ruling affirming the constitutionality of the NSA’s warrantless phone records collection program. Many of my regular readers know that I lost both of my beloved horses on the same day two years ago. It’s a tragedy that I still struggle with to this day. So when I see a story like this, it makes my day. Tucker Zimmerman is a retired marine who has spent the past week rescuing horses and other livestock from the fire blazing through Shasta County, California. The fire has so far claimed six lives, including two firefighters working to control the inferno. But Zimmerman, a tractor salesman, has risked this danger to save some of the animals that are most difficult to rescue. Reuters reports that Zimmerman rescued five horses on Saturday and received a phone call that others needed his help nearby. Zimmerman loaded up a trailer he borrowed from work and entered an evacuation zone in search of the animals. It is now trying to figure out how to change that.” Attached to the tweet is a bigoted screed about New Hampshire’s whiteness infestation. It begins with the sad tale of a certain Catalina Celentano, who moved to the state and discovered, to her horror, that most of its residents speak English. “She found herself in an ethnic vacuum,” the author reports. CNN analyst April Ryan said last week that President Donald Trump was trying to become a “dictator” and suggested that Russian President Vladimir Putin was fooling him. Ryan argued that as Trump saw backlash over his trade policies, he was less able to act like the dictator he wanted to be. “Donald Trump thinks he can do whatever he wants to this world and this nation and it’s not happening,” she said. “People are rising up, the farmers are rising up, his base.
