After Puerto Rico Mayor Slams Trump, LOOK What Comes Out on HER…

You can see politics being played in front of your eyes just by looking at the different reactions that Puerto Rico’s governor and mayor of the capital city are having to the crisis on the island.

Contrary to the media narrative, the U.S. territory’s governor has been extremely grateful for the Trump administration’s response.

On PBS last week he said “First of all, we are very grateful for the administration. They have responded quickly. The president has been very attentive to the situation, personally calling me several times. FEMA and the FEMA director have been here in Puerto Rico twice. As a matter of fact, they were here with us today, making sure that all the resources in FEMA were working in conjunction with the central government. We have been working together.

We have been getting results. The magnitude of this catastrophe is enormous. This is going to take a lot of help, a lot of collaboration. So, my call is to congressmen and congresswomen to take action quickly and conclusively with an aid package for Puerto Rico.”

San Juan’s (Puerto Rico’s capital) mayor, on the other hand, has been pushing the media narrative that nothing is being done. An emotional speech of hers has gone viral, in which she begs anyone listening to save them from dying.

Trump personally responded (because of course he did), and that’s set forth the usual wave of condemnations from journalists and Hollywood actors who think we value their opinions.

She has reason to aid the media in pushing a bogus narrative – because not only is she a radical leftist, sympathizing with, and actively supporting left-wing terrorists isn’t off limits for her either.

In fact, since 2012 she’s shown support for convicted terrorist Oscar Lopez Rivera a total of 49 times. Rivera was a member of the FALN, a group that aimed to make Puerto Rico an independent communist state, and was responsible for over 100 bombings in New York, Chicago, and other American cities. He was jailed since 1981, but given a pardon by Barack Obama (near the end of his term due to the inevitable blowback, of course).

In 2016 she posted a tribute to him, writing “for a great friend, a great patriot: for you Oscar Lopez Rivera.”

And there are plenty of other posts she’s made in support of the terrorist:

Oh, and did we mention that she doesn’t think Trump deserves to be president?

The above tweet translates to “I have had my differences with her and I submit them, but I can’t deny that she is ready and that Trump does not deserve to be Pres.”

It’s pretty easy to see where she’s coming from. She’s a leftist herself aiding the liberal media in pushing the narrative that the Trump administration isn’t giving the same response to Puerto Rico as the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas because racism, or something. That explanation doesn’t make much sense given the large Hispanic population in Texas, but when has the Left ever made sense?
