Chelsea Handler Claims Her ‘Armed Guards’ Don’t Have Semi-Auto Weapons — Twitter Destroys Her

While debating people on Twitter about gun control Thursday, Chelsea Handler claimed that her armed security does not carry any semi-automatic weapons. She also stated her guards do not use the guns to kill children.

Handler added how the public needs to support banning “assault weapons”:

It then begged the question, if Handler’s armed guards are not carrying any semi-automatic weapons, then what are they carrying? The options are limited when it comes to firearms and would not be very effective in protecting the personality.

In all likelihood, Handler’s guards do in fact carry semi-automatic firearms and she does not know the difference. That’s where Twitter stepped in:

Or maybe they do carry revolvers, in which case, Handler should probably let them upgrade so they are able to do their jobs better.
