Congressional Candidate Goes Low: Attacks First Lady Melania as a ‘Hoebag’ and Implies She’s a Prostitute

One “independent conservative” congressional candidate is receiving heavy backlash after he tweeted that first lady Melania Trump is a “hoebag” and implying she is a prostitute.

Mark Roberts, who is running in Oregon’s 2nd Congressional District, tweeted on his verified account that Trump “works by the hour,” adding, “#thinkdirty #hoebag”:

Roberts even challenged the “hosebag” to sue him:

Roberts has even received rebuke from House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).

“Comments like these have no business on any platform. This account should be banned ASAP,” he tweeted.
